How are the grounds? Are you drying out there now?
My wife and I hope to be up there Thursday morning and Friday (Driving). Are any of you still going to be around on either of those days. Would be great to meet some of you and I really need to look at some aircraft as I restore mine.

Mike, Things are good here at OSH. Planes are parking pretty much normally, so baring weather, you shouldn't have any problems with your arrival.
The short wing group is just west of the Hangar Cafe, which is in the Vintage area.
See you here.

Unfortunate accident at OSH today on Rnwy 36 not far from our row. Jack Roush tried to abort a landing as a taildragger pulled onto the rnwy in frount of his Beech Premier and caused the jet to stall back onto the grass just West of the rnwy. Two days ago that area was covered in parked planes. He was not seriously injured but did go to the hospital. His jet broke up on impact and is a total loss. Rumor has it that a Citabria was at fault causing this unfortunate accident.

Sorry to hear about the accident and the loss of the airplane. However, it sounds like it could have been much worse and good to hear he was not seriously hurt.
Those are not the kind of pictures I was asking for anyway. We need airplane porn.

Whoo Hoo - that's a really nice looking Tripacer - love the antenna position and that really useful Sensenich clothes drier!

That's a really old Tri-Pacer. 135hp engine, sliding windows, no baggage compartment. I'd say about a 1952 model. The lady is a little younger and probably bending metal in the top of the cabin.
