I bought a new laptop and it doesn’t have a CD drive, but I’d like to run the program on the new laptop just as if I was inserting the CD.

I’ve been able to copy the individual PDFs over, but I’d like to be able to run the program, or even save the program on the new laptop.

Well hi Sam......... used to work with with your dad and we ran together some in the "old days". We camped with your dad and mom at Lakeland years ago. We all thought you would be born at Lakeland......... your mom was over 8 months pregnant at the time! God! .............. she was a real trooper!

Like Steve said download the CD to a USB flash drive ............. run off of it. Works great. I keep the short wing drawings along with all the J3, J4, PA18, L21, L14, PA11 plus many other drawings/prints on a 64 Gig drive and keep it with me when I travel. ............. just keep it backed up.

    Say hi to your folks

Does this bring back any memories? That’s my dad, then my mom, both at Sun n Fun (I believe during the trip you mentioned), and then me sitting in it. I’m 24 now.

Born at SnF would have made for a great story! Apparently she didn’t let me slow them down even at 8,9 months. I’ve heard stories of flying and offshore fishing.

What is your name? Can’t wait to tell dad I met a friend of his on the forum!

I will check with the store manager in the morning to see, but we should have the CD's available.
