Just got my Private Pilot Certificate little over a month ago in mine. Every logged flight so far has been in her.

What speeds did you use for the maneuvers?

Took mine years ago. It was a windy day and I was asked what was the 'demonstrated cross-wind component' from the POH. I had to explain there's not much to a 1953 Pacer flight manual.

I prepped two of my kids for their Private rides and the third is working on his now. I have them use 100mph for steep turns and ground reference maneuvers. That puts them well under Va and a nice round number on the airspeed indicator. For slow flight, we used 5 knots above Vso and Vs1 because the ACS wants slow flight with no indication of a stall. I trained them to recover from stalls at the first indication of a stall or running out of elevator, whichever occurs first. We can usually get a buffet during power on/departure stalls but ran out of elevator on the power off/approach to landing stalls.

I just got a letter of demonstrated ability in mine. did everything at cruse, slow flight was as slow as I could get it low 50s. First and only time I actually had a stall break and nose over. I was over the fence at seventy. I have a spare 1960 pilot hand book if you would like to borrow it.
    just let me know

I did them all at 80 mph. This is my pattern entry speed and where I feel the most comfortable to yank and bank. My reasoning that I gave the DPE is it gave me some margin so if I increased to the 60deg turn and was up to 2.0 load factor I wouldn't stall.

Slow flight I like 50. This put me on the back side and quite frankly when I tried any faster I would find myself slowing down to 50.

I took my CFI check ride in mine with the Washington FSDO. The inspector had never been in one so I treated it as though I was checking him out, that made it a bit easier for me. I had to fly .1 in an arrow for the complex portion.
