    Default arm rest ???

What 1950's car did the PA-22 arm rest come from? Mine is in terrible condition with the plastic all cracked. I really like the rest there and would hate to do without it.

1948-50 Ford truck. Bob Drake Reproductions has them as a pair. You could find someone else who needs one or keep the other as a spare. Others have found them on JC Whitney or other car restoration sites but I have found that this brand fits the original piper screw spacing. https://www.bobdrake.com/FordItem.as...3-1a7967ed0e4d

It comes apart and you can recover the top side as well.

Thanks for combining this thread. LMC Trucks 49-5400-BL $19.95 . Mine has badly cracked plastic. Perhaps from removing the bench seat.

I think you will find an original easily -- everyone I know has removed the armrest because it digs into the pilot's waist, hip. I would let you have mine but someone removed it before I bought the plane.

I got mine from Bob Drake reproductions. I'm not tall or skinny and it doesn't interfere with me at all and it sure makes those long flights more comfortable. The reproductions I bought fit the mounting holes already in the airplane, I just had to find screws long enough to fit, but the are 8-32 screws.

Thanks everyone! Just ordered one from LMC Truck for 19.95 plus 9 bucks shipping. Same as '48 Ford F1, I guess. Great deal!

I am looking for an armrest for my PA-22/20. Green interior, but could make anything work.
