I have received my new glareshield, it looks great. Anyone have any tricks for locating the holes? I am normally the measure once drill twice type.

Rich, Have you ever used a "hole finder tool"?
Spruce should have them. I just did a search, the image may be self explanatory.
Hope you can position the tool where you need it. I would think the tool would work for most holes, it might not be possible to use on all holes... Windshield might be in the way.
Good luck. This tool is perfect for the measure once drill twice craftsman

Hole finder kit..http://www.amazon.com/Air-Capital-Ho...le+finder+tool. I'm hoping I can lay the old glareshield over the new one and get the holes drilled close enough.

Maybe masking tape on the new one then lay the old on top and mark the holes , then masking tape on panel face and top and draw a line where the holes are and check to see if they all line up with the marks on the glareshield. Drill small pilot holes then lay it in place to make sure they line up. OOOORRRRR measure ten times then drill holes cuss and throw things and duct tape the thing in

I still have 3 left to sell, so if you think you want one better get it quick. I am not sure when I can run more parts. If you bought one or you are planning on buying one please be mindful of where you drill the mounting holes. The right side mounting hole near the defroster cut-out is very close to the edge. It looks like the original was close because mine and most pictures I have seen that hole is broken out. I will add a 1/4" to that side of the mold so the next ones will have a little more space for the mounting holes.

I did not cut out the vent slots on top of the glareshields but I can. If you want the vents cut out just let me know. You will want to use some kind of material, and glue it in place to stop things from falling through the slots.
