That is my buddy that I have been doing the testing with and I am the one that came up with the spread sheet to record and track the performance numbers for all the testing as I wanted real numbers for my plane not just seat of the pants "yeah I think it works better" BS. It has been testing on a lot of cubs and other planes by high time cub guys that thought they had bad to the bone birds prior to trying this prop. To my knowledge, not a single person who tested the demo prop didn't buy one. He now has a 78" and 80" demo prop that I want to try and see if I can get a bit more cruise without giving up much on take off and climb.

I just had my 74 prop repitched from 59 to 56.

Picked up 130 rpm on static run up at 530' elevation. Oil temp = 145deg, for both tests. Was 2260, now 2390 rpm. Measured with an optical tach. This is with a 150HP O-320.

Going to fly Thursday, can't wait to see how it works. But I still want a Carbon Adjustable prop!

On my Tripacer I have an 0320 160 hp with 1500 h since new and a 61” prop repitched to 58”. The prop has 600 hours after been repitched. It has been removed from another PA22.
At 600 ft I have 2500 rpm static (checked with TruTach II), it seems a little bit high…..
    2600 rpm in climb.
WOT leveled at around 1500 ft exceed 2700 rpm

In your experience these number are correct for a 58?

I suppose my propeller pitch is less than 58…..

    thank you. Alex.
