I'm going out West the end of September again. Where is the Chicken Strip? Does anyone have the GPS coordinates for it? Looks like a beautiful place to visit with our Short Wings.

It's north of Death Valley, to the east of 395. Lots of strips out in that area of the desert. PM me if you'd like more info on some of the others!

Well almost a year flying with an all white/non striped Tripe. Finally finished my scheme and graphics. My original intention was to do a classical paint. But I just couldn't help myself. LOL20200315_165319.jpeg20200315_165258.jpeg

Well, I think that adequately illustrates the true nature of this tough little plane....
And here's one from the French Army -- did you know TPs were honest-to-goodness warplanes??

I've been following your paint project. I've painted a number of cars myself and was ready to dive into this project. I was making drawings of various schemes. This was just a fun drawing based off of something similar I saw on the internet. When asking friends which one they liked, everyone laughed and chose this one. I then drew it to scale and gave it to a graphics company who made a decal out of it. So your right. I did save a LOT on paint!

Hi, I’m new to the short wing piper group and wanted to post some pictures of the new bird, finally had a nice weather day and was able to fly her home this week. AC52D098-F3B7-4C3D-A178-37A60813B55B.jpeg

Welcome, and very nice looking Pacer. I like the looks of the traditional wing tips.
