Experimental Vagabond fuselage for sale
Homebuilt PA17 fuselage. Widened 4" and stretched to Pacer/Clipper length. Includes panel, rudder pedals, master cylinders, seat frames, hydraulic assist gull wing doors, windshield and windows, control cables, pulleys, site gauges and Lycoming engine mount. Tail spring mount broke during hard landing. Would make a great start for a homebuilt short wing project. Asking $4000 obo. Located in north Georgia.Fuselage for sale.jpgPanel.jpgSpring mount broke.jpg

Is this the one you had at Lock Haven?

Re: Experimental Vagabond fuselage for sale
Yes. I have decided I want a Super Cub. Had one for over 10 years and loved it. Had a case of momentary insanity and sold it. Now I want another one. No way I could afford to build another experimental without selling this one or removing all the parts I would need for the build. Didn't think I could sell the complete plane for enough so I made the decision to disassemble and sell what was not needed.
I am at this stage now on the Super Cub.Right side.jpgI am using the gear, wheels, tires, brakes, tail feathers, engine, instruments and avionics from the Super 17. Will take wings apart and rebuild with long piper spars.

Dam, I thought that Super 17 was ...super. Definitely a buzz kill for a sideline fan. Good luck in your next endeavor.

Glad to own it!!!! Beautiful workmanship throughout. I have been sitting it in all week making airplane noises.
