Our PA-16's cabin heat system does not perform as we'd like it to: Sometimes it does not close or open correctly. :worry: :worry: :icon_cool: :worry: :icon_cool:
The heat box (at the forward facing side of the firewall) looks like it's been "fixed" a few times before.
Inside the box, there are two flaps, the upper one being actuated by the heater control cable. The flaps can be seen through the grill from cabin.
The lower one seems to be fixed at the fore end only and has a small amount of flex and quite some resistance when trying to "open" it upwards.
Also, the Bowden control cable is fixed with an ugly bracket, which does not look original, and some safety-wire only.
Before trying to fix anything, we'd like to check against another Clipper to see what it should (or could) look like in working condition.
Does anyone have some pictures of the cabin heat box? Are there any drawings on "the drawing CD"(*)?

(*) We only have the payment confirmation for the CD, but the CD is yet to be found...
