Finger Strainer

Does anyone know the thread size for the inside of the Finger Strainer? Need to clean out the brass threads for the AN fitting for the hose.



I thought about buying new ones because of what I though was old dried debris but it looks like a seam. Pictures of the ones at Univair look as bad as mine

a wire brush and some carb clean will spiff that right up.

Get yourself some Hoppe's #9 gun cleaner and soak it overnight. That stuff works amazingly well, especially on brass.

It is pipe thread both inside and out. I want to say 1/4" pipe but would have to check.

I just bought two new ones . The inner threads on one wasnt too good and wanted to cross thread . I did find a tap for the outside but not the inside . 12/20 was close but seems a bit loose after running the tap through . Didn’t want a leak so pulled the trigger
