Fire extinguisher - Where to put it?

This is awesome Steve, thanks!
I used the search bar for "Fire Extinguisher" yesterday, but yielded zero results, that's why I started a new thread. Thanks for merging it with this older thread!
This is fantastic!
I use Google "fire extenguisher site:shortwingpipers.org" I remember the info is here but can only remember some key words so that is how I find stuff.

Brian at Steve’s aircraft suggested this. Seems to have worked out well. Next time I get out to the hanger I’ll get more pictures. Pretty sure I used adel clamps to secure the brackets. Haven’t had any complaints from passengers about the extinguisher being in the wrong place or in the way.

This is where I mounted my Halon extinguisher, too, if we're counting votes. I've practiced getting to it in flight, too. With a passenger. No complaints from passengers yet. I used two hose clamps around the seat horizontal and capturing the extinguisher mount. Simple. I really like simple.

Thanks for that link, Glen. You must be on my wavelength or something -- It's not the "right" part, but only yesterday I was putting some parts away in my "Airplane Stuff" drawer and came across one of those boots. I had completely forgotten about it -- it must have been there for a couple years at least.

Unfortunately, the one I have is Univair 14087-000 and not the pair of parts -- in my post, actually, #12729-026/028 -- in that other thread. I'll get those ordered, BTW. JRyd had some nice photos of his installation.

Here's the one I have: 14087-000 boot.JPG

And you're right, I need to get those bungees covered up.

Walt

EDIT: Bungee boots ordered. The one I have is "Oleo Top Cover Boot".

Mine is also mounted in this location. Only mishap was the retaining tie (plastic) was broken some how. So, I now have a bag of 100 of them! 🤦🏼*♂️
