Restoration Shop

I currently own a PA-20-135. The plane has a metalized fuselage with fabric wings and fabric empennage.

I am looking for a reputable shop specializing in restoring vintage aircraft.
Here is what I am looking at doing:
  1. Recovering of wings, empennage, and Landing Gear struts.
  1. Stripping of remaining paint from metal fuselage (most of the plane is stripped but the underside still has quite a bit of old paint.
  1. Replacement of the old and loud rotating belly beacon with some sort of LED solution with a white strobe (I think McFarlane makes one for the PA-20-135)
  1. Replacement of the wing position lights with LED and if possible strobes. I'm not sure if they make a combo like this.
  1. Repainting and color scheme…especially with a shiny metalized fuselage and fabric wings, tail, and landing gear. The shop needs to have experience in this as well
  1. Interior refurbish…upgrade…(not the panel) just the seats, floor, yokes, etc.
  1. My wish list, but not necessary but figure this would be the best time to do these:
  1. Wing extensions Mod
  2. VG’s
Any help with this search will be greatly appreciated

Good for you. It’s nice to see people putting this much effort and funds into these airplanes to keep them flying. I own mine for over 25 years and have been restoring it in sections for the last five years. This year I’ll take down the fuselage to restore it.
