I've talked with the seller a year ago. They are very eager to sell the plane, but it's at a private airport, and it's a long way from an A&P or other people who can help you pull the wings and load it on a trailer. There's some fabric damage (gas leaks, and a hole in the v-stab), and it needs to be thoroughly gone through before even considering flying it. I ended up buying a different PA-16 in Oregon, and I'm a year into the FAA paperwork (it was co-owned by two people with the same name, and one of the owners passed away, which was very difficult for the FAA to figure out) and the first annual in a while.
