Hey folks! He's not just a Shortwing guru! Much of this will apply to your aircraft too!

Most of this discussion will transfer over from the long wings to the short. Nice thing about Piper is the commonality.

Wow, this was such good info!!! I am at work and was learning and ton and really enjoying it and then some homeless people started a grass fire and interrupted Steve! Damn it. Thanks soo much Steve! I sure hope this is available on YouTube afterwards. Priceless info, so grateful! I do have a question from the broadcast..

the fittings that go into each end of the oil cooler that the oil lines then thread onto... I noticed thread sealant on them, going into the oil cooler. I just flushed my cooler and one of these fittings was loose. I cleaned and re-installed the fitting. Should I have used thread sealant? If so, what kind?

Steve! I checked my carb heat door like you showed to do and found that the knob was stopping it from closing all the way. So I fixed it, making sure the knob doesn’t seat all the way and the door closes perfectly. Thanks again!

Great job Steve, you must have spent hours putting this together. I'm enjoying all the little tips you recommend.

It took way longer than I thought it would. I have thousands of pictures to dig through, then I do a massive photo dump into one file and then organize them. I didn't know how long the talk would be, my prediction at this point is that this is about a quarter of the content. My hope is that everybody can take away something new and hopefully add to it.

Thanks for doing this Steve and Steve, I've always wanted to be able to sit down and pic Steve's brain about the common things he runs into, and now you have brought it to my computer. Great way to spend an evening learning from the pro!

Thanks to you both and the others in the background pulling this together.
