Doing a restoration of a 56 PA22-150 here in Canada and see these two “antenna” in the tail cone. Any ideas what they are?

The rectangular one is an ADF Loop antenna, the inverted U is your static system, there are 2 openings on the belly and it is plumbed to your ASI, ALT and VSI.

I found the rectangular (ADF) antenna in the back of my Pacer as well many years ago and since it was not hooked up to anything, removed it The loop looks like the static system tube, but there should be a T connector connecting the loop to the static ports of your instruments. It's hard to see in the picture, but is that T connector on the right-hand side of the loop?

I clicked on the image, looks like the tee is plumbed between the lower left static port and left side of loop, with a 90 deg rubber tube connected to the the aluminum static tube running forward.
If this were a new-to-me plane, I might get a foot or two of fresh, correct size (1/8"?) windshield washer tubing, and replace all this old and probably degraded, cracked, leaky rubber tubing in the static system, including under the panel connecting to the ASI, VSI and Altimeter.

Enjoy flying, maintaining and occasionally bleeding in your Tri-Pacer!
