I can’t seem to work the link. Please advise source for LED shoulder lights. If you're okay with replacing the housing, you ought to check out https://shortwingpiperclub.org/swpc-store/aircraft-parts/cabin-mounted-shoulder-lights/.
They're saying out of stock, and honestly, that's the first time I've seen them out of stock. I installed a pair of these with the red LED lights and they are truly worth it. Worth the wait until they're back in stock.

Read post #8 first sentence.Do you have a part number for the bulb you used? Is that just a 3/4 CPVC coupler?

I didnt use a union. It was just 3/4 pvc. I do remember I had to slightly enlarge the ID of the socket end with a Dremel and a barrel sand attachment. To make the outside clip groove I rigged up the piece and stuck it on a drill, then held a rat tail file on it. Fun little afternoon project if you like that sort of thing. I used a red LED bulb and the dimmer still works with it. I will have to research were and what bulb I used.
